I have a purplish word

I have a purplish word that silence gave me,

Its beauty unknown even to the proud rose;

But greater still is beauty of the formless,

Like a stream that needs no bed yet with song flows.

Therefore it is hastening to reach somewhere,

To tell great Claude Monet his art to upgrade;

If fluttering light can bring Impressionism

Let cloudless skies have rainbows overhead.

Word has locked secrets of the Ineffable,

With loads of precious sense and sight and sound;

Take the golden hammer and strike the golden door —

Oh the golden flood! Word goldenly crowned!

In the beginning was the word, it with God,

But now the climbing word does God applaud.
