Purple-Heart
In the silence of time things move swiftly,
Tomorrow’s urge unto promised tomorrow;
Passionate birds have now surprise of new wings,
Their winging least knows weariness, grief, sorrow.
Purple-heart is blossoming in the garden
For coming excellences, sunlight tending it;
Its great spell is filling e’ery emptiness,
Shining abundances, richly blending it.
Ideas that are lying in the secret scripture,
Will jump out to find the real and the true;
There is a mystery hid, occultly deep,
Theses of uncertainty certainty to pursue.
Dreams are but awakening of a sleeping will,
Stars twinkling for radiant hopes of the night;
Body’s troubles are all but portentous signs
Of deathlessness in its triumphant right.
Today’s thunder and storm bear sounds of hooves
On assiduous tracks of foretold destiny;
Her gallop is the haste of stamping feet
Breaking seals of the ancientest mystery.
There is a power that sees and knows and does
Wonders that have been yogically worked out;
Mind of Matter remembers what it is for,
In it shall dwell the life divine, in joy’s shout.
