There’s a nest in the orange sky

There’s a nest in the orange sky,

To reach it wind of festive hue;

Gold of beauty blazes in it,

Perfection’s smile adored by few.

Occult is cause of this great art,

Skilled confidence knitting magic;

Straws of faith miracled it

When intense urge was dynamic.

Its unseen light grows bright and bright,

In the unseen’s shapen image;

In measures of time works a will

That shall fashion the coming age.

So appear revealing splendours

Wearing rays of exquisiteness;

Colours and colours in each nest,

They thriving in infiniteness.

Be that a dream, an idea,

To house growing truth they are there;

Absolute wonders gain wonders,

For birds orange nests everywhere.

The belief is, if you spot an orange nest a lot of wealth will come to you.

This is in response to Prof Goutam Ghosal: “What is the symbolic meaning of orange? Kindly explain for us.”

A Note about Orange

In the Mother’s Symbol Orange represents Receptivity. The Mother: “The central circle represents the Divine Consciousness. The four petals represent the four powers of the Mother. The twelve petals represent the twelve powers of the Mother manifested for Her work.”

Sri Aurobindo writes: “Centre and four powers, white. The twelve all of different colour in three groups: top group red, passing to orange towards yellow. Next group, yellow passing through green towards blue. And third group, blue passing through violet towards red.”

Orange signifies energy, warmth, enthusiasm, creativity, vitality, excitement with optimism, intensity. Most matching with the brightest part of the visible spectrum, receives sunlight for life and nourishment, has high energy content. Good fortune and happiness are the wealth. Often a special and cherished person in life is called the orange.

In Hinduism orange (saffron) signifies renunciation, sacrifice, purity, inner strength, a quest for spiritual knowledge. The Mystic Fire (Agni) purifies dross, leading to transformation.

The sky just before the sunrise changes from the early æsthetic purple to slowly brightening orange, the most auspicious time for offering prayers to the Sun-God, the Solar Purusha, the Supramental Being. It is described by Sri Aurobindo’s Gayatri:

The Gayatri mantra is the mantra for bringing the light of Truth into all the planes of the being.

    Dear Sir 🙏

    Isha upanishad, vers 16 speaks of identity of Atman (so ‘ham) and Brahman (the Sun) – this inspiration, Savitri’s Grace is the engine of evolution permantly illuminating us from inside and outside. Our Life is the best commentary to this arrival of Light.

    It is repeated by Gospel of John in the union of Father and Son, followed by those accepting the Divine inspiration.

    Imagine Atom emerging from Big Bang propelled by secret Light yet dark, sleeping unconsciously and today’s smartfon using identical Light to decode this message consciously by the same initial Atman who lives in us.

    Big Orange in the heaven above and in us is One and the same – this is the message of nature, of all poetry, of all scripture and experience.

    The colour orange is meaning: be ready, prepare yourself like everywhere at the traffic lights on cross routs.

        We are children of the Divine Mother and She is doing everything to make us happy and grow strong and wise, this is why Her happiness She shares with us and with entire Universe and beyond. Then everyone is aware of Her Presence and from inside comes Victory, Joy, Love, Peace and Knowledge unveiled and pure.

        This experience is the true miracle, let it grow, let it transform the Universe into the garden of Mother’s Sweet Grace ❤️
