Two Paintings by Akash Deshpande

Akash Deshpande writes:

4ftx5ft oil on canvas. it’s supposed to be the top half of another 4ftx5ft bottom half extending the scene towards the viewer. This one is intentionally diffuser/subdued and receding in the background.

I completed another 4ftx5ft oil on canvas. It is supposed to be bottom half of the previous painting but the style is a bit different so not sure how well they will go together.

These are majestic paintings, each one standing out distinctly, by itself. Large size of the canvas provides happy space for the creative joy in excellent details. I much appreciate the expansiveness of the artist. The top and the bottom need not necessarily go together, one spacious and the other dense though the connection between the two is quite there.
