Two thousand twenty-five — 2025

Squares and cubes add up to two thousand twenty-five,

And digits race in the speed of desirable time;

Buds have grown into flowers, flowers fruits of joy,

Rhythms of seasons personality of the year;

Forms and colours and ecstasies are the rush

Of the flame in the stone and man and unborn god;

The awakened quarter of the century

Gathers the future’s fortitude into its will.

    Dear Sir,

    Pranam to you and Madam.

    Your poem deeply resonated with me—the cycling motion of seasons reflecting evolving consciousness is an idea worth deep contemplation. May 2025, this juncture of the century’s quarters, truly guide us toward a greater destiny, unveiling the divine within.

    Pranam.

    And I have another poem of RYD sir to archive and recite on this luminous morning :

    New Lake

    A new lake filled by the new streams,
    New time by the new hours;
    Tulips wearing purple sweetness
    Brought from the new bowers.

    Beauty’s in the bright meadow’s song,
    Smiles of the otherwhere;
    The dales dew-fresh and thistle-sounds
    Echoing the blue air.

    Sometimes wingedness of the hues
    Reaching the truemost sight;
    Eagles of high aspiring peaks
    Fledging the opal flight.

    Even a sudden thunderclap
    That breaks through silent skies;
    Flaming rhythms of the faultless hills
    When hush-laden hymns arise.

    New bells for new temple towers,
    And new gods in new shrines;
    Where begin the lands of the sun
    Infinity’s new lines.
