The Winds of Wonder

Sounds of infinity’s conchs

Conchs of infinity proclaim victory

And jubilate intuitions in every word;

Every sound awakens the musical ear,

Every wink astonished with the revelation;

Someone has stridden into depths of the night

To see the light that darkly remains concealed;

Oh the sworn speediness that knows no defeat,

Only the expeditious joy thrilling each cause!

अनन्तस्य शङ्खस्य ध्वनयः

अनन्तस्य शङ्खाः विजयं घोषयन्ति

प्रत्येकं च शब्दे अंतर्ज्ञानम् उल्लासयन्ति;

प्रत्येकं उक्तिः संगीतकर्णं जागरयति,

प्रत्येकं निमिषः प्रकाशनेन विस्मितः;

कश्चित् रात्रौ गभीराणि गतः

कृष्णरूपेण गुप्तं तिष्ठति प्रकाशं द्रष्टुं;      

अहो आश्वासितवेगः यत् न पराजयं जानाति,

केवलं प्रत्येकं कारणं रोमाञ्चकं द्रुतगतिना आनन्दः!
