The Winds of Wonder

पूर्वेच्याही खूप पलीकडे

भूतकाळाच्या रात्रीचे मांजर

मागचे पाय गडद हिरवे अग्नीचे;  

देह पुराणा थरारक भयावह

विश्वाच्या चितेवर जळत जळत;

कथितपक्षाचा आत्मा प्रसिद्ध

घेई रूप सतत पुन्हा हर्षाचे;

लहरींच्या गाण्यात पडे मागे

गर्जना मेघाच्या, तुफानाच्या;

नसे काही, ना कान ना डोळे,

प्रखर ज्वालाच उंच पर्वताच्या;

वळा पूर्वेच्याही खूप पलीकडे

गुणगुणे नाम त्या येणाऱ्या नदीचे.
