Yogi Aswapati makes an ardent and strong persuasive prayer to the Divine Mother. This was in spite of the “absolute and wise” counsel from her to let things happen in the process of Time. A sudden and unprepared step of haste could sagaciously be hazardous. But he makes it obligingly compelling, that it is only her entering into mortal birth that things can change. She must mission to earth a living form of hers, so that the lot of mortality here is redeemed, that it shall bear golden peaches of joy and satisfaction. With it the Eternal steps into the dynamics of Time. She consents, complies.
The Timeless enters into the cycles of Time. Here is the Spring, an ardent Lover, and the beauty is the very physical of the earth becomes divinely superior in its glow and in its happy splendour. That is the precursor of things to come. Steps in smile that will change the destiny of the world, le sourire qui changera la destin du monde. The ancient sweetness unharmed by death is going to remould new shapes which will hold the multi-streaming flame-ambrosia of divine affluence and rapture. She is here

A lovelier body formed than earth had known. ||94.13||
What is only a prophecy and a hint at the beginning acquires deepest significance in the context of the divine Agenda. “A lovelier body formed than earth had known.”
A love|+li+er bod|+y formed| than earth| had known.|
This “lovelier body” has something very special in it. It is not only the most splendid spiritual body; it is a body in which is ablaze the psychic flame in every bit, in the very small cell of the body, the flame that gives immortality to the physical, more than that immortality the merit of deathlessness, that the body can change depending upon the needs of the manifesting spirit.
The wonder of this body is already intuited, it present in her young age itself. The Yoga of the occult-psychic she was doing through the long ages has given her a singular physical body.
Aware of forms to which our eyes are closed,
Conscious of nearnesses we cannot feel,
The Power within her shaped her moulding sense
In deeper figures than our surface types. ||94.33||
A body instinct with hidden divinity

Many high gods dwelt in one beautiful home;
Yet was her nature’s orb a perfect whole,
Harmonious like a chant with many tones,
Immense and various like a universe. ||94.48||
Many high gods dwelt in one beautiful home
Many| high gods| dwelt in| one beau|+ti+ful home|
Prosodically with trochee-spondees breezing in swift movements — that is quite an interesting line also, that in it could dwell many high gods.
Could this dwelling of many high gods in her make the Mother’s body more suitable for the cellular work than the body of Sri Aurobindo? Perhaps that could be one reason, though not possibly the only reason. The Mother has narrated on several occasions what Sri Aurobindo had said about her body:
Your body is indispensable for the Work. Without your body the Work cannot be done.
What I see is that your body is the only one that has sufficient endurance to go through the ordeal.
Your body is at present the only one on earth that can do this work.
Your body is much more capable than mine of bearing the work of transformation.
Your body is indispensable for the Work. Without your body the Work cannot be done.
What I see is that your body is the only one that has sufficient endurance to go through the ordeal.
Your body is much more capable than mine of bearing the work of transformation.
The Savitri-phrase “many high gods”, and added to it an invisible sunlight running in her vein, gives all the pertinence to it. The corresponding Savitri-draft was around 1945.
