A cosmic realisation

The union that had taken place far in the long past,

Certainly, it manifests now in a divine life on earth;

Oh the wonder! fiery multiplicity of utter joy!

Enters a gleam of transcendent sun each where.

हो, ठरविता आलेच पाहिजे मला

पडण्या हवेसे स्वप्न, ध्यासाचे, रात्री;

सरळच आहे ही विचारकल्पना,

नाहीतर का असावी सखोल झोप?

धावपळ सारी लांबच्या प्रवासाची

क्षणोक्षणी वाढवीत प्रेरणा थोर;

घडला चमत्कार बघता बघता,

जसे असावा लक्ख प्रकाश विवरी;

आला एक तारा दूरच्या गावाहुनि,

आणि म्हणाला, माझ्यात अंश सूर्याचा;

त्याच्याच तेजाने मी आहे तेजोमय,

अंधार जरी असे अवतीभवती;

काळाच्या काळ्याकुट्ट दाट सावलीने

केलेला देह घडविण्या सुवर्णीय;

झाला होता मोठा प्रस्ताव फार पूर्वी,

धरणी ही केंद्रबिंदू वर्धण्या विश्व;

अलौकिक योगियाची योगधारणा

प्रज्वलित करण्याकरिता हा जन्म;

संयोग मागे भूतकाळात झालेला,

दिव्य जीवन भूतलावर, निश्चित;

तेजोमंडळात शिरे अंश भानूचा

प्रसन्नतेची अग्निमय विविधता;

विश्वाच्या परिपूर्तीतेसाठी प्रपंच,

आखिला श्रेष्ठतेत भाग्यविधात्याने.
