An inspirational Journey with the Mother and Savitri

Savita D. Hindocha, lovingly named Huta (The Offered One) by The Mother, joined the Ashram on February 10, 1955. Over 18 transformative years, under the Mother’s direct guidance, she created two extraordinary series of paintings: 472 Meditations on Savitri 116 Illustrations accompanying the Mother’s comments on Savitri.

This exhibition offers a selection of sketches by the Mother and the relevant final paintings made by Huta under Her direction, illustrating passages of the poem Savitri by Sri Aurobindo. All originals are kept and shown permanently in a separate exhibition in the Savitri Bhavan building itself. The background music in this video are inspirational songs by Aurovilian singer Joy.

    Dear Sir 🙏 and

    This exhibition brings back memories of best time spent in India, l should say in company of Savitri rather. Let it be said this way: time before and after meeting with Sri Aurobindo and with Mother is like being a prisoner and freedom, Joy of seeing light all the time. Even as child looking at Indian post stamp with dancing Siva I knew it: there is music from above, Life is Divine Grace, it is my goal, my nature. It cannot be explained, Savitri is not a book – it is living person, healing power and fire. Soul of Divine radiation, the Sun of magnetic vibration similar to music of univers, played inside us when we climb above, leaving ourselves.
