The winds are in the sails

The winds of wonder are in the sails and begins

The voyage to harbour on the shoreless sea;

Deep known is in search of the deeper knowable,

Emerald secrecies of stillness and utterance;

The limits of our thoughts cut not those hopes,

The Beagle going beyond nature’s cataloguing;

Determined is the evolution’s seeking march,

Eternity beating in the rhythms of time.

This is the sailor on the flow of Time, …

A voyager upon eternity’s seas. ||17.1||

… he hears the sound of larger seas. ||17.5||

A widening world calls him to distant scenes …||17.6||
