The Winds of Wonder

I have become …

I have become a song of deep silence,

And warbling birds come to listen to its notes;

In memory of the future then wings with them

A joy from north to south and from south to north;

Up and down quietude breaks into significances

That closer bring melodies of the spirit;

Everywhere there is triumphant celebration

As my earth-soul becomes a singing stillness.

अहं गभीरमौनगीतं अभवम्

अहं गभीरमौनगीतं अभवम्,

तस्य स्वरान् श्रोतुं च गुञ्जन्तः पक्षिणः आगच्छन्ति;

भविष्यस्य स्मृतौ तदा तेषां सह पक्षाः

उत्तरतः दक्षिणं दक्षिणतः उत्तरं च आनन्दः;

उपरि अधः च शान्तिः महत्त्वेषु भिद्यते

तत् समीपं आत्मायाः रागान् आनयति;

सर्वत्र विजयोत्सवः भवति

यथा मम पृथिवी-आत्मा गायन-निश्चलता भवति।
