The Winds of Wonder

Release and freedom

There is now the soul’s release from ignorance,

And the spirit free from bondage of crude nature;

I can open my shop in a crowded market place

And deal with measured things with a perfect poise;           

In the ballet of life I find choreographed

Gestures and signs of eternity’s thrills;

There is no scintilla of evil and falsehood,

Even death need not be there to change forms.

मुक्तिः स्वतन्त्रता च

अस्ति इदानीं जीवस्य नः अविद्याविमोचनं,

लघुतरप्रकृतेः च बन्धनरहित आत्मा;

अहं जनसङ्ख्यायुक्ते विपण्यस्थाने स्वव्यापारं उद्घाटयितुं शक्नोमि

परिमितवस्तूनि च सम्यक् संयमेन व्यवहारं कुर्वन्तु;

जीवनस्य नृत्ये अहं नृत्यनिर्देशितं पश्यामि

अनन्तकालस्य रोमाञ्चस्य हावभावाः चिह्नानि च;

न किञ्चित् दुष्टं मिथ्या च,

रूपपरिवर्तनार्थं मृत्युः अपि तत्र भवितुं न प्रयोजनम्।
