The Winds of Wonder

My useful corporeality

You surely are beauty and bliss of prized fame,

But it is not that which I seek in my ardent quest;

There is the need to drink waters of earthly streams,

And to climb rocky mountains with or with no snow;

Aren’t there wonders inside the soul of the night,

And fountains of joy in sorrow’s mystery?

I am waiting here for your beauty and bliss

To smile in my useful corporeality.

मम उपयोगी शारीरिकता

त्वं नूनं शोभां बहुमूल्यं यशः आनन्दं च,

किन्तु न तत् यत् अहं मम प्रखर-अन्वेषणे अन्वेषयामि;

तत्र पार्थिवधाराजलपानस्य आवश्यकता, .

शिलापर्वतानां च आरोहणं हिमहीनं वा विना वा;

किं न सन्ति आश्चर्यं रात्रौ आत्मानः,

शोक रहस्ये च आनन्दस्य झाराः?

अहं तव सौन्दर्यं आनन्दं च अत्र प्रतीक्षामि

मम उपयोगी शारीरिकतायां स्मितं कर्तुं।
