The Winds of Wonder

And was raised an intense chant

The iron that was rusting in the sun and rain,

Oh the alchemy turning it into breathing gold! 

This body was never originally meant to die

And be burned in the fire of guilt and fault;

But was raised an intense chant, “Si Seigneur,

Thou hast come to dwell in this desired house;”

Sure he will not pass away, didn’t come for that,

Greatly has come with absolute inevitability.

तीव्रस्वरः च उत्थापितः

सूर्यवृष्टौ जङ्गमयुक्तं लोहं यत् ,

अहो कीमिया तत् श्वसनसुवर्णरूपेण परिणमयति!

एतत् शरीरं मूलतः कदापि मृत्यवे न आसीत्

अभियोगदोषाग्नौ च दह्यताम्;

परन्तु तीव्रः आह्वानः उत्थापितः आसीत्, “यदि भगवन्,

त्वम् अस्मिन् इष्टे गृहे निवसितुं आगतः;”

निश्चितं सः न गमिष्यति, तदर्थं न आगतः,

महता नितान्तपरिहार्यतायाः सह आगतः।
