The Winds of Wonder

Not heaven but this world

Honoured mysteries of heaven dazzle me not,

Immortalities of its signs and signatures;

There is wisdom of wonder blazing to be,

In this mortal birth to glory in deathlessness;

Fierce in the cry of joy is flame-urgency

Climbing the peaks of adoring distinctions;

Since the world was made with inspiring grit,

There is pursuit for the life to be divine.

न स्वर्गः किन्तु अयं संसारः

स्वर्गस्य रहस्याः सम्मानिताः मां न भ्रान्तयन्ति,

तस्य चिह्नानां हस्ताक्षराणां च अमरता;

तत्र आश्चर्यस्य प्रज्ञाः ज्वलन्ति,

अस्मिन् मर्त्यजन्मनि अमृते महिमाम्;

ज्वाला-त्वरता त्वरयति क्रन्दनन्दस्य उग्रतायां

आराधना श्रेष्ठतायाः शिखरानाम् आरोहणं;

प्रेरणादायिभिः संसारस्य निर्मितत्वात् ।

तत्र जीवनस्य दिव्यत्वस्य अनुसरणं भवति।
