God meets God

Because light desired the light that casts no shadows

God has come to meet God, he to greet himself;

He sees and he has created blindness to see,

In the din of silence hear the voice of the Quiet;

Flight had no zealous wings but came chirping birds,

In chase of the unknowable reaching knowables;          

Released from nothingness to gain the plenty

The will of God has set into movement God himself.

ईश्वरः ईश्वरं मिलति

यतो हि प्रकाशः कामयते स्म यत् प्रकाशं न छायां निक्षिपति

ईश्वरः ईश्वरं मिलितुं आगतः, सः आत्मनः अभिवादनं कर्तुं;

पश्यति च दृष्टान्धतां च निर्मितवान्,                                             

शान्तिस्य कोलाहलस्य मध्ये शान्तस्य स्वरं शृणुत;

उड्डयनस्य न उत्साहपूर्णाः पक्षाः आसन् किन्तु कूजन्तः पक्षिणः आगच्छन्ति स्म,

अज्ञेयान् प्राप्य ज्ञेयान् अनुसृत्य;

बहुलाभार्थं शून्यात् मुक्तः

ईश्वरस्य संकल्पः ईश्वरः एव गतिं कृतवान्।
