“… death is life disguised”
Courageous life stunned by obstruse presence
Braved the hazard at the price of her own self;
How else could she be divine even in matter
If luminous matter has to be the foundation?
By a strange identity she met the menace
To conquer brute enemy in his own den;
It was a long-thoughted leap occasioned
By a will that urges birth of undying flame.

“… मृत्युः वेषं जीवनम्” ।
व्यथितसन्निध्येन स्तब्धं साहसिकं जीवनम्
स्वस्य आत्मनः मूल्ये संकटं साहसं कृतवती;
कथं अन्यथा सा द्रव्येऽपि दिव्या भवेत्
यदि प्रकाशमानं पदार्थं आधारं भवितुमर्हति?
विचित्रतादात्मेन सा तर्जनं मिलितवती
स्वस्य गुहायां क्रूरं शत्रुं जितुम्;
तत् कारणीकृतं चिरचिन्तितं कूर्दनं आसीत्
अमृतज्वालाजन्मं चोदयति संकल्पेन।
