The Winds of Wonder

Through the transparency of leaves

Often through dreams of tomorrow moved the zest

Gathering in a golden casket wonders of time;

If Parthenon was built in measures of beauty

A carved majesty won in its limbs boundless peace;

Through the transparency of leaves shines an image

Shaping actions of storms and of serene poise;

Now waits the flame to get an immortal name,

In intensities of utterness and surprise.

पत्रस्य पारदर्शितायाः माध्यमेन

प्रायः श्वः स्वप्नानां माध्यमेन एकः उत्साहः चालितः

सुवर्णपुटे सङ्गृह्य कालस्य आश्चर्यं;

यदि पार्थिनोन् सौन्दर्यप्रमाणेन निर्मितः आसीत्

उत्कीर्णं महिमा स्वाङ्गेषु असीमशान्तिं जित्वा;

पत्रस्य पारदर्शितायाः माध्यमेन एकं प्रतिबिम्बं प्रकाशते

क्रुद्धवायुनां, शान्तसंयमस्य च कर्मणां आकारं दत्तवान्;

इदानीं प्रतीक्षते ज्वाला अमरनाम प्राप्तुं,

उदात्ततायाः आश्चर्यस्य च तीव्रतासु।
