The Winds of Wonder

A dream wakes up

In the twinkle of the star, in the smile of the dew,

The dream woke up to the sleep of joy and triumph;

Then the future’s word brought wonder’s promises,

The calm of songs that throb only in the yonder hush;

A key was found that opened the locked doors

And the eyes saw a fire seizing the mortal world;

The presence and the power took the body

In their absolute of utter deathlessness.

स्वप्नः जागर्ति

तारकस्य स्फुरणे ओसस्मिते,

स्वप्नः आनन्दस्य विजयस्य च निद्रां प्रति जागरितः;

तदा भविष्यस्य वचनं आश्चर्यप्रतिज्ञाः आनयत्,

तत्रैव निःशब्दे एव स्पन्दन्ति गीतानां शान्तिः;

एकः संकेतः प्राप्तः यः कुण्डलितद्वाराणि उद्घाटितवान्

नेत्राणि च मर्त्यलोकं गृहीत्वा अग्निम् अपश्यन्;

उपस्थितिः शक्तिः च शरीरं गृहीतवती

तेषां सर्वथा अमृतत्वस्य निरपेक्षे।
