If you know …

If you know how to walk will then appear the road,

If you know how to sleep will then appear glad dreams;

There is a sea below the sea for the spirit to swim,

A sky much higher for the golden eagles to take wings;

A mountain is climbing up on a taller mountain,

An idea-force conquering unaccessed intuition;

There is a purposeful meaning in all that is,

In the soul of night a night with a burning sun.

यदि त्वं जानासि …

यदि त्वं गमनं जानासि तर्हि मार्गः प्रकटितः भविष्यति,

यदि त्वं निद्रां जानासि तर्हि प्रसन्नस्वप्नाः दृश्यन्ते;

समुद्रस्य अधः समुद्रः अस्ति आत्मायाः तरणस्य कृते,

सुवर्णगरुडानां कृते उड्डयनार्थं बहु उच्चतरं आकाशम्;

एकः पर्वतः ऊर्ध्वतरं पर्वतम् उपरि आरोहति,

अनागतं अंतर्ज्ञानं जित्वा विचार-बलम्;

तत्र सर्वेषु प्रयोजनार्थः,

रात्रिमात्मनि रात्रिं प्रज्वलितसूर्येण सह।
